Adding a human presenter to your interactive 3D Space is very easy. First, use our Green Screen Academy to learn how to create a green screen movie. Then, without any video editing, you can add this Video to Fectar Studio for an amazing holographic effect with a real person standing in your AR and VR Space.
Add a holographic presenter to your Augmented and Virtual Reality Space: The Holopresenter.
Open Fectar Studio, go to the Space you want to edit and open the Layout tab. Click on Add Content.
The "File Manager" window will pop up. You can upload your Video (.mp4 and .mov) or use a Video in the File Manager. Then, click on the Video and click on "Select."
To learn more about the file manager, click here.
Your Video is assigned to your Space. Now, you can change the content type to Holopresenter. But, first, select the video spot and click on the white dropdown menu.
A dropdown menu opens. Here are multiple options that change the content type. Click on Holopresenter to select the type.
There are a few settings to get the best holopresenter possible.
You need to tweak these settings a few times to get the optimal result.
Start by placing the (1) First Slider on the top of your person's head. Next, adjust the (2) Second Slider to where the feet are placed on the floor.
Good to know: You need the feet for your presenter to be put on the ground, like he is standing there, therefor the pint by the feet . And you need the full length, therefore the highest point, to make it feel like your holopresenter is a real person in the space.
Next, set the (3) Chroma Background color Click anywhere in the Video and make sure you choose a green color close to the person. Each time you click, you see the value of the Chroma background color change.
Chroma means removing color and replacing it with transparency. Therefore it is possible to make a not-transparent video partially transparent.
Chroma Background color, an even color background gives the best result, pick the average green color, which is not a part with shadow, nor a part with a lot of light.
With the (4) Chroma cut-of slider, you get a real-time preview of how many green colors Fectar Studio cuts out. If you set the value too high, the Holopresenter loses a lot of colors, and often the outline of hair and clothes gets holes. On the other hand, if you set the value too low, the green background remains visible. Select different background colors and move the cut-off Slider to get optimal results.
Now set the (5) Presenter height of the person in centimeters and click on Save.
