Sketchfab is an online marketplace where you can download free and paid 3D models for your AR and VR projects.
On Sketchfab, creators from all over the world can upload and sell their creative work. There is an enormous library with 3D models for free or for you to buy. Have a look at Sketchfab here. Or check out the Fectar collection in Sketchfab: https://sketchfab.com/fectar
Use Sketchfab models in Fectar Studio
Step 1. Create a free account in Sketchfab
Click on sign-up now and create an account.
Step 2. Find a 3D model that is free to download or available for purchase
Not all 3D models available on Sketchfab are available for you to download. Check if the model you found is available for download. Look in the top right corner for the download icon or the store icon.
Step 3. Download the auto-converted format (glTF) of the 3D model
You can find the download link in your purchase overview if you have bought a 3D model. Or, if the model is free, you have to click on download now. Now pop-up screens become visible. Here you have multiple options to download your 3D model. For direct use in Fectar Studio, choose the auto-converted format (glTF).
Step 4. Upload your 3D model in Fectar Studio
After clicking on download, you will download a ".ZIP file". Keep the file as it is. You can upload this ".ZIP file" in Fectar Studio and assign it to the glTF spot. If you need more information about this step, you can read more about this step in this article:

IMPORTANT Things to keep in mind!
Triangles and Vertices are indicators of the complexity of the 3D model. Therefore, we advise you not to use 3D models with more than 100.000 or 100k triangles.
Download size. The download size is not is directly visible. So after downloading the auto-converted format (glTF), please check its download size. We advise you not to use 3D models that are more than 25 MB in size! Especially when you have multiple models, it will make your space very big and it will take your viewers some time to download your content.
Credit the creator of the 3D model if the model is free to use! Creators work hard to make 3D models. Mention their names in the description of your AR space. Please also check if other conditions apply for the free use of a 3D model.
